Glenorchy Pier 2026
Photos from a recent South Island New Zealand trip.
These five photos taken using a Fujifilm small sensor, outdoor and underwater camera - Fujifilm XP80. The camera was set to a "Toy" mode in a square format for the first four photos (many more were taken as I hiked around). The last photo was the camera set to a Black and White setting.
I quite enjoy being restricted to a lower resolution camera, using various formats and effects. It's basically all point and click, allowing me to focus on the composition.
These photos were taken at Glenorchy and Queenstown. I also used another camera, set to auto which has a larger sensor - a Canon EOS M100. I decided to take two small cameras for ease of packing and carrying when walking. As I said the restrictions on resolution, lenses and features has it's benefits. But there was a few times I thought a more powerful camera and lense combination would have been a bonus.
